For everyone saying this has something with me being a "2012 nigga" you're wrong, I've been here and have had more than one account.

And as far as the quality of the music is concerned, I just think of the Ma$e situation where he reformed and got TERRIBLE....so fall back with all that static yall kickin.

I aint say imma mad "at" him, I would just be mad at the situation because everyone is expecting him to link back up with OF and come back with some other wordly type wordplay over some Tyler/Left Brain beats...

Seriously why would you be mad? He's still gonna have a nasty flow. His content might be different though. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts spitting stuff similar to J. Cole... it would be fucking dope.

I think a new Earl might even be better than Earl's stuff so far. He could round out OF's sound and bring validity the way Frank Ocean does. You already have Tyler and Mellowhype rapping about murder and rape and Domo Genesis and Frank Ocean balance that out. If you had someone as dope as Earl rapping about legitimate topics it would only make OF stronger. I think Earl rapping about the same topics as Tyler wastes his gift because people don't take that stuff serious.

I see mellowhype as more of a youth (angry) spoken word type of group anyways.... but yea I can respect what you're saying.

Yep. Earl's debut was amazing lyrically but a gigantic waste of talent, and go ahead and argue, but the gimmicks Tyler uses for shock (which is a gimmick in itself) basically fucked Earl's talent. imagine an album full of songs like Luper, but with even more meaning and wit and shit

would be fucking dope. rapping about rape and murder is all good but in the long run it means nothing and wont leave a mark on anyone/anything. and its funny how Tylers dumb enough to compare it to movies with rape and murder while missing the fact that decent movies use rape/horror as a message, or at least to make some part of the plot mean something on the much larger scale that is the human experience. sure, its all in good fun, but if you want to be remembered as an artist, you need to represent something, to give something. OF does not do this.

He doesn't need to gel with OF, he already has enough hype. People are goin to listen regardless if he is with OF or not, and I'm sure he'll still be great

My thoughts stand like this. If tyler didn't have so many difficulties or whatever like dissing Earl's mom it would be easier for him to integrate back into Odd Future but tyler was on some "Fuck EARLS MOM" shit. Earl's mom is always going to be his mom, Tyler isn't always going to be his friend. Tbh if Tyler had kept Brandun and Casey in the group and added Vince he would have more options. But the world isn't perfect so we'll see.

I don't think he has a problem with Casey. Casey just decided to do his own thing. I remember Tyler saying he was going to Casey/Mac Millers show last year.

Tyler seems like the asshole/weird kid people only like because he's funny sometimes and he's rich/has cool shit. If anyone else is getting attention he starts to hate them. I know Tyler didn't grow up with money, I'm talking about now.
