Awww Rakim number 3 instead of number 1....S'all good tho. Good list lotta my favorites on there, but the lack of Eazy-E and Bone thugs is slightly depressing.

I hate music lists. It's so subjective to argue whose impact is greater or less. Impact where? In the suburbs? In the hood? On the internet? We all relate to things differently. I know people who think Lil Wayne is truly the greatest rapper of all time, whereas others think Biggie is the greatest. People just frankly have different tastes, whether perceivably worse or better This list is pretty good but I can't agree with having Nas at one despite the fact he's one of my favorites. An incredible, incredible lyricist but his catalogue is kind of shaky despite the fact they supposedly used that as a category. Just pure bars and lyricism alone, Canibus should be way higher on the list. Shocked Pharoahe Monch wasn't on the list yet one of the most notorious ghostwriter using niggas of all time (Lil Wayne) makes it on the list. I love Jada but how you gonna have him on the list yet exclude niggas like Styles P or Cassidy. No Pusha-T or Malice on the list? No Vinnie Paz? Cam'ron? MF DOOM? The list is too broad and vague in its terms of grading. It's impossible to rank rappers numerically and get a good result. Just impossible. Clearly the makers of the list have neglected to listen to a lot of people. |||||||||||||| Twitter:!/buddy_omar

Pretty meh list. It looks inclusive at first, but as others have stated, it's mad subjective, and there are some notable people missing. Also, how are you gonna have an ALL time list, but include barely any newer artists? I understand cultural significance and everything, but I have a feeling that years from now guys like Royce and Ludacris will be remembered as being far more significant than DJ Quik and Immortal Technique.

big L is ranked low due to him having little impact as far as his time here, but you say whats the difference between pun and biggie? their impact was way higher when they released their debuts than L was, L was just an aftermath realization after he passed. I don't agree how low Jada is ranked though and im shocked how high Scarface is, but well deserving!

Overall not bad, missing some more underground dudes cats though. There's no Doom, Del, or El-P. All three should be on that list before Immortal Technique. Another thing; I love Bun B but Pimp C should be on there too.

That list is horrible. Like one of the users said above music lists like this are weak. How is Ice Cube ahead of Eminem ? How is that ? How is Nas number one ? I love Nas and he's one of the greatest rappers of all time, arguably the greatest writer in rap, but better than Jay-Z ? Jay-Z is good at everything not just rapping but actually making hit songs, he has one of the best catalogs for a solo artist, he would be seated on the throne if rap was a hierarchy. And why the fuck is Lauryn Hill on the list ? She's great but greater than AZ ? lol she came out with one great solo album I'm sorry but that is not enough I can't respect that. If she died OK but a huge part of being a great artist in any medium is consistency. If Da Vinci only made the Mona Lisa he wouldn't be this God like being people see him as.

a few questionable entries, and I'd def nitpick about the order, but pretty decent list overall
