CATS showed he can make a Dope project that is easy to like.

It's just a matter of him actually writing some Structured Bars and recording it on an actual mic. Or someone getting him in a Studio.

I just don't get why CH refuses to do that...

But then again it could be a mental problem making him not want to do it.

Just got off ustream with CH.

Summary:
DJ'd mad songs while chatting with fans and shit. being Charles Hamilton.
played a bunch of songs off STH3. sounded Epic. no release date. he sampled soulja boy's voice dissing Charles in the one song he played

Made a bunch of beats live using Sega Samples
Told us an Epic and lulzy story about a girl he pulled
Played this CRAZY project that samples all Classical Italian Music. Made in 2011. sounds nice. Might drop tonight
Currently playing us a song off L Word 4. sounds Dope.

also, earlier today CH dropped a small Project called "Beats for The Cause"

kinda mehhh. Sounds better than Arguments With Briana and the 9th Wonder songs as far as Vocals. Last track will make you rage quit though lol. Each song has a diff vocal mixing

I can't tell from when he played it on his speakers to the Ustream but StH3 sounds like it's not using the "dirty leather wallet" sound...
The Italian one didn't sound like it either.

I'm still not sure WHY he's been doing that for the past couple projects...
He actually has a studio where he's staying.

I'm actually a big fan of CH. I WILL admit the dude isn't "all there", but he does have a unique gift for hip-hop music that most artists today lack. I think all he really needs is a relevant indie label to take him under and provide him with quality production, promotion, etc. Also, I think he needs to surround himself with a better circle of people. It's fucked up watchin vids on sites like Youtube and WSHH of people just kickin him while he's down. They should be tryin to help him improve. But yeah those are just my thoughts. Some of my favorite mixtapes/albums from him are Pink Lavalamp, Sonic The Hamilton 1-2, CATS Can, Well This Isn't Awkward, and Outside Looking. Really I don't care if people disagree with my statement, I follow talented people and I think he's talented

i understand why people who dont know about CH would think thats weird.....but he paid homage to dilla way before that. he was always talking about how he influenced him sonically and all that crazy he spoke to him in a dream CH-type stuff. love that shit.

the way CH is able to work with sound (even as a sample-based producer he manipulates sound to a crazy extent) is very dilla-like. Not many other rapper/producers created something as unique.
