it just seems like he tries to hard to be lyrical to compete with or sound like the usual drake, j cole, lupe etc. Some stuff seems forced but he has potential. He's nice but so are a lot of up and coming rappers. I don't know about you but best way to get known is to be original. Just look at lil b

If anything, that's a good thing, knowing how shitty rappers like Drake and J Cole are lyrically. Lack of decent lyricism is one of the major factors that has plagued (mainstream) hip hop the past decade, so I have no idea why you would diss some kid who at least ATTEMPTS to have bars...

Been bumpin' the boy for a while now. I don't get why people gotta hate that he tries to be lyrical. And yeah, he pulls elements from other rappers, but who doesn't? J Cole pulls from Cannibus a lot, and no one's railing on him for that.
