did anyone else find ab-soul actually weirdly not sad/grieving on book of soul? I mean alori just killed herself a couple months ago. if the plan was actually for them to "have grandchildren," you'd think he'd sound a little more depressed about the whole thing

yea i think it was mostly the beat. Should have had a deeper/darker beat. Song is still good though.

Eventhough he didnt break into Usher tears I still felt his heart on that shit, it peaks at "as much as i want to cower and bit the mic adue, and fall off a fucking tower tryna find you" but you don't know how many times he rehearsed this or how many tears were already shed, he's probably desensitized to it

He obviously wanted it to sound the way it did. the first time i heard it i wasnt even paying attention and just thought it was a chill normal dope song but then heard it again and was kinda in shock. saying how if music doesnt work for him he's gonna kill himself like kurt cobain

Just finished the album.So many good tracks and the production is well done.
Bohemian Grove,Terroist Threats,Pineal Gland,SOPA,Showin Love,Book Of Soul coolcool
Im sure im missing a few others,but all in all this project is amazing.
Cant wait to catch him performing track from this at RTB this year.

EDIT: After doing some reasearch on alori joh,I got the full story.
Apparently she commited suicide by throwing herself off a radio tower.
