He is better than 80% of rappers that you hear on the radio today. There is no such thing as a " Radio Rapper"..Once you have a machine behind your music and they are PAID to play your music every hour on the hour, The whole " Radio Rapper " thing is out the window. They dont play you cause your good, They play you cause they are paid to do so. That being said, Dom has his own style that i think works for him. When a Dom song comes on, You know its a Dom song..If he gets his story telling rhyme skeems up, He could up it another level. I think if he was in Group he would be a perfect peice.

RICH HIL? Dog I respect your opinion about Dom and Casey but how in the hell are you going to call them average and then bring up RICH HIL. Hahahaha hell na.

And the dude above me is totally right, Dom has his own style and it works for him. He flows smoothly on the beats and you know it's a chill Dom song you can ride to. I like Casey because he has shown me potential with Sleeping In Class and his flow is getting better everytime I hear him. But he still needs work.

Above average lyricist who has a superior knack for beat selection and production, and a very original flow and delivery. I honestly believe that he's more talented than all of us think he is TBH. Gotta love him for not caring about mainstream, he would be a rapper who makes good/great music but wouldn't appeal to the mainstream masses. As he stays consistent to his loyal fanbase, Dom Kennedy's not gonna change the face of hip-hop, but he's almost the perfect rapper to listen to while you're chilling or cruising in your car.

It's not about him being mainstream or trying to do all that. The question is why he is underrated. I haven't heard anyone in here really make a case for him having tough lyrical skills. I mean, in order to appeal to more people(not necessarily the masses) you'd have to be much better lyrically. Curren$y is a perfect example. He is dope as hell lyrically but he isn't all mainstream, but ♥♥♥♥♥s know he's dope and is even in a few peoples top 10.

That is not a diss as much as it is an acknowledgement that Dom's style is what appeals to hip-hop bloggers more so than that of Tyler's.

I have been listening to Dom since 8th grade. I told people about him then and they're like "shits wack"
Today they're listening to him. "Still looking" still is my favorite song from him.
