Even with all that buzz I don't see him going anywhere, same with Wale. Lyrically he's good but he cant seem to make a good song. Dollar and a Dream is arguably his best song and its depressing as fuck.


How long do you think it will take for him to throw in the towel? Do you think its possible for J cole to eat off a touring career? I really cant see cats spending money to watch a boring Jcole show.

No 9 to 5. The worst thing that could happen per se would be his first album is ok, everything is terrible after that. Then he makes some song that is in a Reebok commercial 3 years from now and makes money from stuff like that.

"I Get Up" and "Dollar and a Dream" were both great songs and I was impressed. Most of his shit I've heard after those seems really uninspired in comparison.

I suggest you listen to some more Cole, man. Or maybe you have, and just don't like him? He has plenty of good songs. I saw him two years ago in Chicago and he was great live. His single was supposed to come out this week, but supposedly he's waiting for a sample to clear.

Wale isn't going anywhere, at least for now. He got that MMG money and a mixtape coming.
