Man Atlantic fucked up a perfectly good concept for a Lupe album. I bumped it once and i could hear undertones of the old lupe but it was mostly surrounded by shitty tracks trying to mimic popular radio singles. I was expecting deep stories like in FNL and The Cool but there was nothing like that. So fuck atlantic and lets hope Lupe is done with them so he can go back to putting out real music. His first 2 albums were as close to classics as it can get so we can forgive him for this one because of the circumstances.

Just finished listening to the album.

Overall it was just like what I expected. Very mainstream, forced upon by Atlantic.

There are two good songs that has the real lupe flow on the album. All Black Everything and Never Forget You.

I just wish there were more quality songs. I didn't expect Atlantic to make 90% of the album mainstream.

man, after reading the Complex article I feel for this dude. Lupe knows how to make it a good album. He's done it twice, even his mixtapes were dope as fuck. I dont blame dude for this album whatsoever.

lets get a petition started for Lupe to head to G.O.O.D. or something.
