im digging Til I Get There and Coming Up. I also like Trey Songz part on Out Of My Head. thats actually a pretty good song if u just imagine it's a Drake track featuring Lupe, and Drake's part got cut out.

when i heard All Black Everything, i was like, damn, this is the one. this is the standout of the album. but if that track had been on Food and Liquor or the Cool, i'd prob think it was just another good track.

Now that I see it, Atlantic is trying to birth another B.o.B. They saw the success that B.o.B. had for them last year and are trying to mold Lupe into another B.o.B. which is actually sad.

true. but if you look at B.o.B. you can tell he bit a lot off of lupe. just watch him perform his raps. all of his mannerisms and movements are cloned from lupe. just like how drake's mannerisms are a copy of kanye.

You just can't be a Chris Brown and a Lupe fan. Just doesn't click my man.

this is true. the moment i decided to start liking lupe, i threw away all of my chris brown posters.

i actually applied that logic to the whole album and it jumped from a B- to an A-

Am I the only one that really enjoyed the album? I honestly think it parellels The cool and F&L , as a matter fact I enjoy all his work. and it's not like I just jumped on the lupe wagon either. Ive been listening to him since day one. I think "break the Chain" is the only weak song on the track. not really into that electronic mix added in. But the rest of the album is real solid.

A little disappointed that what u want wasnt on the album though.

The Cool was one of the deepest hip-hop albums to come out in a WHILE.. but this one.. meh

burr

Atlantic heavily influenced this album so I'm not mad that it doesn't compare to his other shit. We all know what Lupe is capable of.

Saw him on George Lopez tonight, performance was dope. smokeyface

This albums not as bad as some of you make it. But it doesn't seem like any of the tracks besides a few really fit lupes style. If you listen to his older albums most of the raps are different and same with the lyrical content. All Black Everything has genuine Lupe verses whereas There Goes On seems like someone completely different. I agree with Dstyles, most of the songs could be used for BoB.

Knowing that Lupe was forced to use some of these beats and features makes me enjoy the album much less but nevertheless it had pretty okay production.

I never said I liked or disliked Lasers.

Truth is ANY of Lupe's work will and always will top any of Chris Brown's garbage. No question.

You just can't be a Chris Brown and a Lupe fan. Just doesn't click my man.

i bought this album with an open mind, figuring it cant be as good as F&L. its a few notches below it, still a solid release.

my favorite track has to be "Words I Never Said" Skylar Grey is going to be huge if she isnt already

That song is not radio friendly.

The guy talks about 9/11 being a conspiracy so i doubt any radio station will even want to play it. Not saying that the song sucks. By far my favorite track on Lasers.

And I still think that Lasers is better than The Cool.
