To each his own I guess, but first of all it's not like Hodgy is left brain, but I thought it was an interesting simple ambient beat...same with the one that just says f#ck over and over, they're just tumblr tracks he's making for fun, not album cuts. People been hating on Hodgy a lot recently and that's cool, but he's definitely still my favorite in the group. I will agree that he seems to have changed a little, but Mellowhype 65 is my sheeeeeet which is recent, and I didn't think his verse on Crap was that bad...plus he made a track with Stones Throw that was awesome as well, y'all peep that?
Mellowhype is the perfect name for their music, but I prefer the mellow part like how Yellowwhite as opposed to the Hype sound of Blacknwhite. Songs like Polyeurethane and Claustroflowbic are some of my favorite OF songs, just straight chill music, rapping about the opposite of violent stuff, I hope they come out with more of that opposed to the 64 stuff, but I see big things for him in the future.
