Wow the track Maad City was amazing. At the end of the song it felt as if Kendrick was playing the role of a shoulder angel while the music was blasting from the right ear bud. Then mood changed in his verse he changed into a shoulder devil and his voice deepens on the left ear bud. Too dope

Definitely a solid album, ran through it a few times and some standout tracks are Backseat freestyle, Art of peer pressure, Money Trees, Good kid, maad city.

It held to Kendricks style and vision pretty closely, and that's why it came out dope as fuck.

this (+ Sherane). Loved the interludes/skits as well, reminded me of tha 80s/90s hood films and brought back that nostalgia feelin. KDot tha GOAT
