Saying not to compare an artist to another is stupid. If I was comparing him to Method Man or some shit it'd be dumb but CB and Drake have a lot in common so it's a valid comparison. Thanks.

Gambino ain't worried bout the money haha, music is like his side chick .. he makes so much money off his TV/Comedy shit .. that's what makes him such a good artist. He's not forcing anything, and he's such a real dude .. Camp is guna be amazing and easily lowkey album of the year

I never said anything about money, profiting from something means more than your bank account. His gameplan reminds me of The Game, sit back, listen to the others and soak game, then make a successful style out of theirs.

I'm not saying he's bad, just don't see anything special in what he does.

I don't know about that Game comparison haha. CB borrows flows but his persona/subject matter are his own. The Game just raps about other people's lives. He's like a hip hop news reporter or something.

Sure he has a ymish flow but his persona, content, and production are completely different. Also, he's more in line with the indie rock world than e is rap so there's that too.

No one's saying you can't compare artists, obviously you are, but it's annoying when you come into a thread about X rapper and you see 3-4pgs about how they're like Y rapper.

Especially when it's always someone being compared to Lil' Wayne or Drake.
