Mike Posner.... I know of this guy, well kind of. He was cool with my little brother, back in Michigan at Wylie E. Groves HS. I remember this dude was on the basketball team, he was pretty good. And I always saw him at parties..... poker parties, house parties, bar mitzvah's. But, one thing is I remember my little brother always telling me how this kid, Mike Posner would be reading the dictionary all the time. And how sick he was at rapping/freestyle. I believe a lot of his earlier work was actually rapping before singing. I think somewhere in there he was also producing a lot too. It just shows with a lot of hard work and passion and little bit of luck/timing you can be SUCCESSFUL. There's still a lot of talent out there in MI, shout out to Mike Posner, Sam Khalmsky, Kwesi Akaah, Usifo(C4), Dave Koshiwitz (KO), and I guess Paul Wilson you too. Out of all those guy, not to hate on any of them Sam Khalmsky if he's still alive had the most god given talent. But, life was just unfair to him and distracted him from networking to the right people. Hope he's out there making dope beats, and takes it with him up to the top. Big Ups to Mike Posner Birmingham's, W. Bloomfield's, Southfield's mark in present day music.
