There's probably other tracks on the album that you'll enjoy more than this, but judging by the songs you listed, I highly doubt you're going to be all that impressed if you're stuck on CS Drake.

Old Drake died, he's Drizzy now. But having dropped Fear, maybe Drake in a year or two when he has too much money and says "fuck this shit," he'll do a mixtape going back to his hip hop roots.

Listened to this track like five times now and I actually don't like the production. The song is alright but it has that spliced sound to it like 4 My Town.


Those are just some of my fav. Drake tracks I listed. I enjoyed SFG, but iono, I just been liking dudes style less and less as he's released more material, and there are many notable changes.

Also im more of a fan of straight rapping rather than anything else so when rappers go from straight up rapping to doing a whole bunch of other things I kinda lose interest as well.

You guys act like blowing up on the radio is a feat in and of itself. This aint 1950, radio plays nothing but 4 songs anyway and of course theyre gonna play the wheels off of a single from the single most anticipated album of the year. Hopefully Drake comes out with a solid album worthy of selling a mil, unlike C3.

Edit. Finally listening...this beat reminds me of something Swizz Beatz would do. Not bad, I think alot of people are going to hype it up too much. Drake's had some shit in the past that eclipses this, but its WAY better than any other Young Money crap.

I don't know about this song. Def not feeling the hook. He needs something more melodic if he wants to get that best I ever had type of buzz. I wouldn't release this as a first single either. This might even be a skipper on a cd for me. Not good drizzy.

This is unlike any single released this year, Im sure some of yall were expecting more but this song is the shit. I can only imagine how good the video will be. Did they start shooting?

Chorus is garbage. I really don't know what he was going for there.

Verses were OK, but nothing jumped out at me and his flow was too slow at some points.

Production-wise it's good I like the beat.

But I'm not really feeling it. Hopefully he saved the better songs for the rest of the album.

I doubt after all this time, they would put out a single that didnt serve its purpose. Good or bad, its something that you didn't expect. Im sure there's plenty of your typical "Drake" songs on the album but we've heard all those before. I think worse case scenario Drake will get played out and over exposed to quick. Or he could've tried to release a big radio-friendly first single and it could flop. With all the pressure and expectations on him I think they picked a safe first single. The next one will probably be what everyone is looking for.

yall too harsh on drake, so far gone was warm up/mood muzik 2 status mixtape. give him a break..yeah his recent work hasnt been that good but that's cuz those songs were only leftovers/collabs etc. fear was epic, this is great, too.

the beat is great, goosebumbs and shit when it first started
