ross like jeezy has had to study some of raps greatest to be able to distinguish themselves like they have in lew of these new rappers. ross is killing florida/miami rappers as if he's an 90's east coast rapper, and jeezy is nothing like oj,gucci,or wacka. nuff said he's underrated as far as lyricism.

OP said he can go bar for bar with the greats, which is kinda giving him a lil much.

I don't see him really contending with dudes like Raekwon, Meth, Ghost and other emcees that still put out drug fueled music. I kinda group him with Jeezy in the way that they can put out dope music, but lyrically they aren't high up on the list.

Talented seems kind of a bad word to use...but there just better rappers than Ross lyrically. Dudes like Luda, 50, and T.I. who have skill, and are always in the mainstreams eye.

I mean do you really think Ross would go bar for bar with people regarded as greats?

I think Deeper Than Rap was one of the better albums of last year, production was dope, and his flow and lyrics improved...alot, but he isn't messing with alot of dudes lyrically for the most part.
