hey guys. ive been making beats for maybe a year now. i made this on fruity loops so i think fl studio is an acceptable way to make beats but i think that with an mpc, this beat wouldve taken half as long to produce. welllll, tell me what you guys think?

I figured that problem out. I have another on now though. You know how in reason when you chop the sample and when reaches the end of the chop it kinda echo's out? Well when I open the sample in reason it has that sound at the end of the chops. How do I get rid of that?

In your nnxt, click on the slice you want to edit. There's a knob labeled End. Pull that back until that sound is gone.

Is there anyway to get my midi to trigger the whole chop instead of me having to hold the key down until the chop is done?

I think for that you're gonna have to mess with the play mode knob. I'm not sure at the moment if you can do that or not, but that's where you're gonna wanna look.

In both the Dr. Rex and NN-XT you need to set the polyphany to 1 and turn the release all the way up.

both are good.
reason is music creation.
logic is creation + recording.
