Great program man, won't disappoint. It'll take some time to get use to but once you do, you'll love it. The capabilities with it are endless.

lol i just opened this shit, the layout is complicated like I remember. Unlike the simplified GB/Logic interface

I'mma get used to it though. I like Logic but it's always good to try out other programs. Got any good tutorials?

I just been peepin youtube. I'm getting everything figured out pretty quickly imo. I been fuckin with both Fruity Loops 9 and reason/recycle. Don't know which one I wanna focus on though.
February 08, 2010 @ 22:20:18

Im making a j dilla tribute song for my latenight radio station, where im going to remake and flip some of his less popular beats, ill up it later
February 09, 2010 @ 01:09:45
ayo Bruh which tutorials have you been peepin? There's so many, some of them are kinda wack. Need to peep the ones that are actually useful lol

I think you need to figure out what you need to learn first. I think the most valuable thing you'll need to learn to use in reason is the nnxt sampler. The dr rex loop player is pretty simple and straight forward, but there's a lot to the nnxt that you need to sit down and figure out.

Learning to use the synths is also important. I mostly use Thor, that thing is awesome.

I've been using reason for a few years now, and I love it.

Well you can rewire Reason into Logic, if you prefer using Logic's sequencer.

Most people who use Reason end up rewiring it into something else, using Reason more like a synth/sampler rack than a sequencer. Unfortunately, Reason doesn't let you use vst plugins, so for some (like me) it gives you the flexibility you need to work comfortably.

FL Studio for life?

ehh. Maybe not for life.
February 09, 2010 @ 20:24:25
for the moment..
February 09, 2010 @ 21:23:18
damn thats dope. Can u post tutorials for Reason alone though? Gotta learn how to use reason before i start using it in Logic

word, I'll look into that. There's just so many vids idk where to start. Some of these dudes aren't even really teaching u shit, with they deep accents and shit|0

don't let the look of reason fool you,
once you get the basic's down on how to use it,
you'll master it in a snap.
February 11, 2010 @ 01:56:47
yeah it's basically just a lot of synths, you just gotta jump into it, you'll learn your way around it through just experimenting and shit
February 11, 2010 @ 02:45:40
Sorry Freak, No Buggin' Out Instrumental. Are you getting into production/do you produce?

btw so where the FUCK did Cudi's bitch ass get it?
February 11, 2010 @ 08:22:12

February 11, 2010 @ 11:51:52

This sounds cheesy as hell, but yah... eff it. I'm working on my second tape. My first tape was produced exclusively by me to the dismay of some, but for this tape I've reached out and I have a couple of producers working with me. Would anyone be willing to work with me? If so, just pm me.

what exactly does an mpd do?? is it the same as an mpc?? how do they differ??

Well the MPD is a MIDI-controller. Essentially what it does is it acts as a controller for your DAW. Without it being hooked up to a computer with a DAW of some sort, it serves no purpose because it doesn't have a HD or sounds of it's own. It triggers only the sounds and samples you have loaded up in your DAW.

The MPC on the other hand, is everything built into one. It's a sequencer and controller. You can load samples via CD's, floppies, etc (depending on what model MPC you have).
