i've tried messing around with ableton and everytime i come back to logic. its a lot easier to use/much more flexible imo. probably cause i've never given ableton that much of a chance.

I thought about getting Ableton but I'm still decided. My ReCycle torrent doesn't work anymore because I upgrades my Reason 5 torrent so I'm just gonna have to buy it. Anyone have any recommendation's for DAW's? I'm just gonna download a bunch of demo's and try the out I guess.

yeah man. trying out demos is probably your best bet. there really isn't a "best" program. it just depends on your preference.

I made the jump from FL to Ableton about a year back man, and I've never looked back.

It's definitely not user friendly (at least not like FL, Reason, Logic) and you really need to know what the fuck you're doing otherwise that shit can seem like you're working with a brick wall.

Warping has become my new favorite shit ever, so I can't really fucks with anything else.

Also, since I'm making everything in Ableton now, whenever I do a show I pretty much load all the beats I've made recently, load some other beats I've warped, and just start doing shit live on the spot and Abelton just intuitively knows what to do.
