Beats Beats BEATS!!!!

theres just so much more to Logic. and once you figure out how to really use it you can create some pretty impressive stuff. Theres heaps of tutorials n stuff thatll teach you pretty quickly.

Yuge89. Your track Yesterday is really dope man, but i think you should go back and put a bit more work into it. you need to smooth out the main vocal sample. Its a bit jerkey if you know what i mean. It also needs a bit of a changeup somewhere. But its a great beat it has a lot of potential

I recently copped an Akai Professional APC20. Anyone have experience with one of these? Haven't actually had the time to play around with it because of college and work. Plus I write rhymes too so hopefully one day I can record some tracks over my own production. My buddy is a b-boy and he has a $1600 setup at his crib - mostly turntable stuff, so I think we can cook some dope shit up once I learn how to work my equipment. Got another friend who has a home studio. He makes beats on FL and raps as well. Once I find some free time we'll probably put down a track together.

I used an APC20 before for a live performance and it was ok. I felt it needed way more pads, sliders, and knobs, or at least a MIDI bank to work with.

Never used it as a sole controller for a DAW though, what software are you using?
