For filters you should use a hpf to cut off the lows for basically anything that isnt the bass or kick and do the opposite for the bass and kick with a lpf, this will make your mix sound a lot cleaner and give you more room for the low end. You can also use filters as an effect with automation it just takes some experimenting and for EQs there is so much you can do to make your mix sound 10x better look up on how to find fundamental frequencies, i would recommend using a parametric EQ because you can get every frequency. Theres a lot more shit to explain haha im too lazy to type it out right now. If you ever need more help just message meSo i have two questions which I'm looking for help with.
My first question is if anyone could help me with any tips or good videos on using things like EQ and filters and such on fruity loops to make my beats sound more professional. (or any links to really good sound kits)
My second question is if anyone here can help guide me in learning how to use reason to make beats? Ive tried to learn myself but haven't been successful do far, does anybody know of any guides or tutorials on teaching the basics of reason which could help me?
Anybody who can answer any of these questions please respond, id appreciate it!
