<p>Jay-Z 101?: Georgetown University students can now listen to Jay-Z for course credit. Academic Michael Eric Dyson reportedly will teach a three credit course about the rapper’s music there. “Well obviously Jay-Z is one of the greatest entertainers of the world today,” Dyson told MTV. “Not only is he a remarkable rhetorical genius, he’s also a man of deep sympathy and empathy for those who are lost and vulnerable, but especially under-educated youth of all cultures and stripes.” The course’s syllabus will include Jay-Z’s book “Decoded,” which was co-authored by Dream Hampton.
