he needs to get that band back and pick much better songs to do live.

like how is he not going to come out to Dont Hold Your Applause .....thats crazy to me.

i was disappointed given that his last show was pretty good.

Why bump the wale thread? Was listening to his mixtape shit, and realized how much talent this dude has. It's a shame this nikka became a sell out. No matter how much nigs want to hate, can't deny he's a good MC. It's sad watching what this dude has become...so fake, smh.

When Wale "sells out" his album sells 160k, with a label that hadn't signed a rapper in I don't know how many years, with no single. He didn't "sell out" he raps about the exact same stuff, with more pop like beats. and to tell ya'll the truth, if you think Wale sold out in the first place, you never were a fan. Wale had songs like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxWfox44phA showing his ignorant side, on the same mixtape as a song like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPOH4vkiHMo which if you didn't know is his top 5 most lyrical songs in his discography ever in my opinion, and this was back 2005. So one of you tell me, how you can sell out if you rapped about the exact same shit BEFORE your so called "prime" material was even created?

Dude come on, if you're really as big a Wale fan as you claim, you've clearly seen a change in his priorities and lyrical content over the years.

I was thinking about this the other day. The only thing I see change at all about Wale, honestly, is his vocabulary. When he first started you can tell he was a English major in college. Now he uses college level words every once in a while as opposed to every sentence like he use to.

No matter what argument you make we all know It's not the same. The niga getting tatted and rocking Ice, c-mon son. He even mentions It in his songs (The fact he does shit thats not true to his nature). Wale has def put in the work, and deserves commercial success. I'm just not fellin the music anymore.
