This is kinda off topic but what do you think the first verse on dumb it down about?
This is such a vague question because there is multiple meaning for that verse. Basically he's saying he's blinded (peerless). To peer is to look, but your equals are also your peers, so he's basically saying he's peerless, meaning nobody can compare to him. But how he describes his blindness is so crazy, he says his "windshield is minstrel". Minstrel shows came about in the late 1800's where white and even black actors would paint their face black and act out southern african-american sterotypes. But if you painted the windshield black, you wouldn't be able to see, hence the blindness.
Then he makes a little matrix reference. How he took both pills, cause Lupe can make songs that are about some social problem and then he can make hit records like Superstar. Then he describes a vampire, and how clear it would be in the mirror. Basically things are becoming clear, because Lupe is bringing them to light (songs like "gotta eat" and "he say, she say"). And among all the dead, Lupe has a pocket full of posies, which were kept in the time of the plague as a means to cover up the stench of dead bodies. Maybe compared to Lupe, other rappers are dead? I don't know.
