This means I have more time to listen to the shit that matters: Alternative Rap.
The current state leaves the past and alternative music seem greater and more influential.

The worst thing about rap is the overuse of similes. Also if someone does something that's clever and you copy them, you don't become clever. For some reason 95% of rappers don't seem to grasp this concept.

Funny how people are so quick to blame the artist. supply and demand, people are mainstream shit so why wouldnt the artist countinue to make it?

You guys are acting like these guys have ethics, a lot of them sold drugs before the rap game. My point is drug dealers priorities are making the most money and doing as little work as possible, becoming a rapper does not change this mentality. If I could make a pop song and get a milli in a week I would do the same.

At the end of the day it is the consumers responsibility to buy or not buy a product. People try to act cool on the net, "I love immortal technique". Would you want a girl grinding on you in the club to that shit?

My reasons completely reflected off responses like yours.

There's nothing wrong with getting your money and having fun but if you do it in a selfish way where you ruin the music what are you left with behind? Nothing. Music before was a powerful thing, one that helped people get through their lives and enhance the times. Obviously you don't have any sense of history because you see things on the surface only out to get yours. So all I'm gonna say is tasteless and our generation is pitiful I don't care what any of you say because if it's BS it ain't the truth. DONE.
