Since MTVs was bullshit I'm makin my own.

1. Jay-Z no ?'s asked
2. Drake- buzz and 2 singles at the top of the charts off just a mixtape
3. Eminem- sold 608k 1st week & one of the only albums to go plat this year & he's a lyrical beast
4.KanYe- features, production & flow always on point
5.T.I.- sold more than Jay his 1st week & singles were all hits. Only reason he didn't make the list was him goin to jail
6.Kid Cudi- 1st single was off a mixtape over 2 years old and still a hit. Phenominal album and lyrics hit u in a different way..
7. Lil Wayne- biggest tour of the year. Sold a mil 1st week last year & consistency with mixtapes
8. Young Jeezy- hood lyrical flow, features & has sort of a hood cult following plus his albums aren't bad
9. 50 cent- consistency with mixtapes(althought not always relavent) keeps his name in headlines and has a highly anticcipated album
10. Slaughterhouse- crazy lyricism between all 4 members. Highly anticipated album that didn't dissappoint

Honorable mentions: Fabolous, Asher Roth, gucci mane( as much as I hate to admit) , Rick Ross, Lupe,

That's MY list.. Don't hate it just make your own

Hansel: I hear a lot of words like "beauty" and "handsomeness" and "incredibly chiseled features." To me that's like a vanity, a self-absorbtion that I try to steer clear of. I dig the bungee. For me, it's just the way I live my life. I grip it and I rip it. I live it with a lot of flair. I live it on the edge, where I gotta be. I wasn't like every other kids you know who dreams about being and astronaut. I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music that he's created over the years - I don't really listen to it. But the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here and I'm gonna give it my best shot.
