Blueprint 3 Leaked *Two New Tracks Pg. 2*

Sep 02, 2009 @ 12:50
Personally, I think Alicia Keys killed it on Empire State of Mind..

I agree.. empire state of mind is pretty nice...
Sep 02, 2009 @ 13:41
I just listened to it. IMO the dopest tracks are...

1. Empire state of mind (fire)
2. Thank You
3. So Ambitious

Everything else was OK. Mabey it just needs time to grow on me..

i hated "hate" at first, but when it's played directly after "already home" it sounds tight as fuck hahah. idk why. and i didnt like "venus vs. mars" when it leaked but i like it too now. this isnt gonna be an instant classic. your going like it in like 4 years. i've beeen playing it back 2 back. because i see the potential in it. and i dont wanna be like everybody else and hate it. and after you play it a couple times it sounds better everytime. try it.

Can anyone tell me the song he did with MGMT? Did it get scrapped? Its not in the production credits or features.

This I'm confused about also. I'm fairly sure I saw it in the listing somewhere, but it's not there now. Maybe I confused it with Cudi's listing.
Sep 02, 2009 @ 16:21
maybe it didn't leak yet?
Sep 02, 2009 @ 18:06

word! he scrapped a bunch of songs i was looking forward to.

Album is pretty much "I'm the best maayne" "You should love me" throughout...but i'll hand it to Jigga, he does it well. It's grown on me.

Fav tracks so far:

Thank You
Empire State of Mind
A Star is Born
So Ambitious
Already Home

Bump!

I'm still replaying this album. I think I'm at the point where I'll rinse out anything he releases, although I'm curious about how he was quoted as saying he has enough material to release NINE ALBUMS next year.

I was gonna comment on that earlier, but no. I don't like it as much as the others. It's a nice way to end the album, but to me it felt out of place, and reminded me a bit of Coldest Winter.

Coldest Winter was good, I'm not questioning that, but Forever Young sounds similar in an unflattering way, to me.

On torrentz. Damn. I'm not feeling this at all. Very low expectations and they were met. I mean, even if I was clear of all biased, I'd probably be like, damn...*closes iTunes*. But of course, I gotta be that dude that sees both sides of an argument before judging.

I mean, I hope you guys are making up your own minds and not thinking like the rest of them drones. With that said, I'll be waiting in anticipation for what Nas has to offer.
Sep 03, 2009 @ 02:22
^^ Is Nas really the next best thing?

ETA: Maybe that's another thread entirely.
Sep 03, 2009 @ 02:28
i'm enjoying the album, but i'm a huge jay fanboy

Just a question here. Low expectations for a new Jay album after dropping a dope one...but waiting with bated breath after the last few stinkers Nas dropped? 2 + 2 = 5?
