I'll be waiting in anticipation for what Nas has to offer.

Just a question here. Low expectations for a new Jay album after dropping a dope one...but waiting with bated breath after the last few stinkers Nas dropped? 2 + 2 = 5?

dont understand the hate this album is dope. But Hov really messed up not puttin Nas on Empire State of Mind. This song is going to be big but it would have easily been a top 10 rap song of all time if Nas had have been on it. Maybe he's waiting for the remix. Im not from Ny but damn ...when Jay performs this song in Msg the roof might come off.

Untitled was not garbage and neither was Hip Hop Is Dead, Streets Disciple, and definitely not Gods Son... Nas' only bad album is nastradamus

the only songs I like are Empire State of Mind, Real As It Gets, So Ambitious, and Hate, and then the 2 singles. other than that, this album is pretty weak, doesn't even deserve the Blueprint name.

who cares if someone drops a shitty album...such as nas? even if he dropped nastradamus, we'd still have illmatic, stillmatic, etc etc

all that matters is if you drop a dope album, then its dope. who cares about what came after what.

umm what ?

^nah i'm stating my opinion, he's entitled to his as well... don't turn this into nas vs. jay because all that'll be brought up is ether, illmatic, jay swagjacking nas for years, and for jays defense his record sales and nastradamus lol

jay swaggerjacking nas? yeah right. they have completely different styles, with jay just being all around cooler.

okay, how about jay rapping fast until illmatic dropped? RD heavily influenced by illmatic then he sampled nas(dead presidents, rap game crack game) and tried to get him to feature on can i live... idk i don't feelin like arguing

Apparently Jay is working on another album (naturally), and it'll be his most "experimental".

oh i will, it's gonna be the first cd i cop in a while

always, jay was rappin hella fast until rd, yeah. but the beats he picked for rd and the flow he used were way different than nas. just cuz jay respected him and wanted to use him on a few tracks makes him a poser? and btw i'm glad nas wasn't on can i live, that's probably in my top 5 jay songs. shit was so epic.

"Alicia Keys murdered you on your own shit."

No hate towards BP3 my expectations were low from hearing the leaks but the album is growing on me but Alicia really did kill Jay's verses.

Yeah she should have had that song to herself on her album lol. Its funny that if Empire State of Mind was on an Alicia Keys album it would have been a filler track but it was the highlight on BP3 which is possibly the most anticipated album of this year haha.

BP3 is good overall. It's an over-average album, it's not a Kingdom Come lol. It's obviously not as good as Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint, but it's maybe on the American Gangster or Black Album level.

The Timbaland tracks, especially the one with Drake had me going like WTF, this ain't Jay. Other than that, the beats are pretty good throughout the album. I could see how people could not like the album at first, but yeah it does grow on you.

Fav tracks: Empire State of Mind, Run This Town, Already Home, Young Forever.

dudes just progressed and matured as artist, which is the downfall of most wu artist except Ghost, RZA, and Meth (which is what pisses me off about OB4CL 2)....

The album was not all too bad. Better than I expected but definitely not a classic... Still prefer ob4cl2 over the bp3...
