Is it just me or has this year been pretty weak so far? I remember last year at this time, I had a ton of songs and albums I really liked. I can only think of two albums I really liked (Tennis & Washed Out) and a handful of tracks here and there...

Anything I'm missing? Recommend me an album or three...

Yeah same for me. Especially for the past 2 months. Usually I have like, 170 tracks in the "recently added" section of my iTunes but since July I have barely 100 songs...

I was there, at the Smith westerns show actually, the stage collapsed during their show.
I had never been so scared, I ran as fast as I could dodging metal poles falling from the tent structure. Once I got out there was a huge hail storm (I seriously think it actually was a tornado), flag poles took off like rockets, nobody understood what was happening, 10 minutes before the sun was shining and no clouds could be seen...
I waited in the middle of the field for the wind to calm down and I went to the camping to see if my friends who stayed there were ok.
Several tents disappeared or were destroyed, trees and light poles fell on campers... I saw one or two bodies under a tree...
I finally went home during the night with another camper's car (I met him there, he was going near my town (250km away from the festival)) and some friends.
Right after the accident I was shocked (I threw up, had a thousand yards stare, ...)
Now I'm fine. just have bruisings all over my arms and legs and I have to go see a therapist. I'm emotional as fuck since thursday (crying for nothing, being afraid while playing Zelda, ...) but I think everything will be fine now.
And like this guy (Dave Grohl) say, every day I wake up is a good day
(that's him paying a tribute to the victims)
