With the Fall season upon us now and winter coming soon, I want to get a pair of boots that are nice to look at and can withstand whatever the elements throw at you. A friend of mine has a pair of Boots that his dad gave him a few years back. He says they are called mountaineering boots and are kind of a vintage style. I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas of where to buy/find these kinds of boots? I searched eBay and all I could find were boots that were heavily used and i'm not paying for VISVIM's because I don't see what the point is in paying $600-800 when I know that the're similar styled boots for way cheaper.

BTW here is a pic of the style of boots im talking about

TIA

But all of those are like $300 and up. I have been looking on the web for like the past two days trying to find some that are $150-200, but I guess the prices are high for a reason.
