Any one on here ever dye a pair of shoes, like the mesh on an air max? Is there any way i can dye it black? Im thinking maybe rit dye... just wondering if anyone has ever done it an can shed a little light on it for me.

the other kinda sucked imo so i recolored part of it

I've never done it but I know of someone dying their thorogood horsehide boots brown from black.
I'll try to pull up more info.

Of course you can bleach Vans but to me it will be pretty hard to dye mesh reason being it could damage the sole and maybe other things around it. But it can happen and look amazing..

I dyed the mesh on some Air Max 95's. I did them yellow and they came out pretty good. I used Rite. i don't see why you couldn't use black. I had the shoes upside down to prevent the dye from running down to a lower are of the shoe I was trying to keep the dye from.
