Toms, sandals, trainers brogues. There are countless types of casual shoe, but what is the ideal pair of beach shoes that can take a bit of water and sand damage?

generic surplus mesh ones would be nice too.
beach is best barefoot, so i'd grab a little pair of plimsoles you can shove in your back pockets when you wanna walk out there

Havaianas, but really any sort of sandal/flip-flops will do. IMO the beach is one of the only places that sandals and flip flops are acceptable.

some space jams. the icey sole goes great with the sand and saltwater..
