Could I half size up on Jordans and Sbs?

Hi I am a size 7 in Mens. But for Jordans size 7 in men is size 7 in big kids which means instead of the "REAL PAIR" I get a lower quality pair and the box that flips over. I was wondering would it be fine for me to upgrade to size 7.5? If not then what can I do to fit into a size 7.5 comfortably.

And for Sbs I've been looking around and the pairs that I have most interest in are never in size 7. My question in this case is when Nike sbs are release what size do they range from? Or does it depend on which shoe is released.

i usually wear size 9s, but theres a good deal on something, i'd size down to 8.5 or up to 9.5.
can't do anything about the smaller size, but i add an insole or wear a thicker socks for the bigger size.
it should be comfortable enough, but i dont recommend playing basketball or skating though.

Personally for me it's fine, no problem. Don't forget to take into consideration that a size 7.5 Jordan =/= 7.5 SB

I'd size up and maybe wear 2 pairs of socks.
I'm a size 10.5 but I bought a pair of SBs at a size 10 since that's all they had. I took out the soles and they were a bit too big even though they were 10's. They fit perfect with 2 pairs of socks but it takes a bit to get used to.

2) walk into foot locker
3) try on a pair of 7.5
4) determine if they fit comfortably
