are they for balling in or something?

im not trying to start any shit or anything, but i think they are some of the ugliest, gaudy shoes i have ever seen. i am really hoping people want them for balling and not wearing out and shit.

i just dont understand it.

They're unique and have always been hot in the DMV/NY area.

They're trendy right now all over though, because of Wale.

they are a show worn on and off the court, they have been popular since the late 90's and will continue to be fora long time
they are too bulky for on the court for me, especially now with all these adi-zero's/hyperfuses out now..

The Foamposite is actually a really game-changing shoe when it first came out, the technology behind em is bananas.

I hope yall are talking about the foamposites with the big nike check on the side because those are the only ones that are any where near ugly. EVERY foamposite without the nike check is BEAUTIFUL. Especially the mettalic reds, pewters, and those fuckin black lebron foams. The galaxy's are kind of loud but i fucks wit em regardless

Police stop it five. Foams have always been popping. They're trendy now because being a sneakerhead is the new in thing, Wale just so happens to be the person to reveal a lot of the new CWs.

This. Foams are probably the best shoe for basketball ever created, technology wise. The more you wear them the more they form to your foot. The fact that the shoe is a tank is more than likely the reason it's so popular. The shoe NEVER creases and is strong enough to make it through winter unscathed and still look fresh for the summer. All it takes to clean them is a wet wash cloth.

Had a pair of the carolina blue and white Foamposites back when they originally released ten or so years ago. Got them for cheap at Champs on clearance. Guess no one liked that colorway, but I didn't care because they were only for basketball. The Foamposites offered a ton of cushioning and support, but didn't breathe well. The shoes always looked like space boots to me, but couldn't argue with the comfort and design factors.

If the current Foams weren't so ridiculously priced and I could find a pair in a neutral color (not neon or rainbow like all the current colorways), I might consider picking up a pair. Most likely not though.
