Who's Coppin'?











Guaranteed to put an end to at least one relationship in February, here's a fresh look at the perfectly/ill-timed Metallic Red Nike Air Foamposite One set to drop on Valentine's Day 2012. The long-awaited (and even petitioned!) retro features a metallic red foam shell, black nubuck and mesh trim, white branding, a carbon fiber shank plate and a translucent rubber outsole.

So, what's the verdict?

I'm thinking $200-220, the Electrolime Foams dropping in March are listed at $220 so I can't imagine these being any different price-wise.

Same place as any foam drop. And this is a Foamposite One, so there won't be a swoosh on the side, that's only for the Foam Pros.

I've never copped Foams in an actual store, always online, so I'm not really sure who will/will not be carrying store-wise. Any tips?

Depending on location, it's always different. I know that Foot Action USA and Footlocker are the two stores that will get Foams in Milwaukee. I only have Coppers and I got them online, but I always see Foams in the two stores mentioned above. These will probably retail for 180-200. I'm not feelin' 'em though.

Heard the rumor that a majority of Nike products (from shoes to apparel to everything in between) will be going up 10-15% in the new year; this could be that proof right here, unfortunate.
