I'm positive many of you will know of good running shoes that aren't too expensive. How are Reebok Zigtechs?

I'm not a running sneaker expert by any means, but I've done some research on them. I found a couple that had some good reviews and wound up getting a pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 11s. They're fantastic. And they're old, so I found a pair for around $60. But you should definitely check out some review sites 'cause every person needs a different fit to fit their style of running.

^^I run in the Asic Gel Nimbus also. Very good forefoot cushion. I would steer away from Nike's

As a track and cross country runner, I would recommend Asics, Brooks, or Saucony. If you know of a running store near you, I'd suggest going there and having them look at your stride, pronation, and arch so you can get the shoe that would benefit you the most.

if youre serious about looking like youre serious about running, get some vibram five fingers.

if youre running on a treadmill, just go barefoot. forreal tho, youre prob not an old man so your joints can take it. barefoot running is the best way to get the most out of your workout.

Not everyone runs on a track. They're great shoes, gives you the barefoot feeling.

Free runs are comfy for light jogging and weight room, but aren't the best for more rigorous exercise.
And zigtechs feel really good, tried them on at the store, wasn't going to spend a bill though. razz

i use nike lunarglides+2 for the gym, they have good support and are very comfy when running. thinking about picking up a pair of the +3's as my next pair, i highly recommend them. i would get free runs for casual wear, idk if i would like running in them though.
