my huarache's finally died and I need to buy a new pair myself. I've narrowed it down to either the hyperfuses or those reebok zig slashes... I'm 6'4" 195
Any recommendations?

I recommend any hyperdunks, they are the best basketball shoes i've worn, hands down. The prices vary from each shoes though. Usually around 100+.

There are so many solid nike shoes on footlocker for cheap. But I would say either the Jordan Pro Strongs or The Air Max Wavy's.

I'd say go to your local footlocker and try on ball shoes if you actually intend to play ball in them. Nobody can tell you which to get because when it comes to ball shoes its gotta be function over fashion. I play ball everyday of the week whether it be a practice, a game or simple messing around at the rec im always on the court and if you wanna be functional on the court its alot better to have the shoes that fit perfectly and look "ok" than the ones that fit like shit (kobes) but look sick. Go to a footlocker or a champs and try some on, you'll make an easy decision.

if you're a guard or handling the ball in general quite a bit you can't go past hyperizes or kobe V / VI in terms of a lightweight, durable and ample cushionined sneaker.

it also depends on how wide your feet are. hyperdunk/fuse/rize and kobes for relatively thin feet, lebrons for when you have wide feet.

Hyperfuses. They're go for $90+ and they are a great all around basketball shoe. If you're willing to pay more, go for the LeBron 8 V2's

KD 3's and if you have a little more go with the Hyperfuses. Both are defintely worth the money.
