workout as in lifting, or cardio, running, etc etc?

if its lifting, not gonna lie, chucks/all-stars work good

Something with good foot support, definitely. I don't think Chucks would be a good idea, I wore similar shoes and the heels of my feet eventually started hurting like hell because I didn't have adequate support when I deadlift, etc.

my weapon of choice

kobe zoom 4 work well for cardio if thats your main concern

i don't understand how people work out in vans or anything with a vulcanized sole

if you're worried about being in shape might as well keep your back health in tact so sometimes the shoe does matter

Gotta agree with freshwang, as far as lifting goes, chucks by far. But as far as running it's different for everyone.

Looking for -- Triumvir BDU jacket and NBHDxstussyxlevis jacket both in small

Nike free works really well for weightlifting, or you can try Vibram fivefingers.

for running, free is fine for turf or lawn, but if you're gonna run on pavement I suggest anything with Air Max.

I think Air Max 90s are a good choice if you're looking for the total package: they look good, they comfortable, durable, and you can run, lift, cross train in them. they've got really good ankle support for a low top. You can't hoop in em, but you can pretty much do everything else and look good at the same time.

the reezigs are actually very comfortable and light so i usually always work out in those or my nike frees.
i love them both. only downside is after a lot of wear the nike frees literally decompose.

Another vote for the 90s. I've been using an old pair of 90s for the past few months to work out in and I've been enjoying them. No pain in my feet or back after a long workout like I used to get with a few other shoes.
