I just bought some Dunk high's and when I wear them i look like a frickin` goof.
I wear Cheap Monday Autobahn's. The length is a bit too long for me; so they often sit on my shoes. When I try to fit my dunk's and jean's together they look f**ked up.
Should I stick the tongue out or keep the tongue in? Should I just get baggier jeans?
How high do you lace your dunk's? How high should I lace my dunks?

All tips are appreciated.

I usually wear fitted jeans with my high tops and let them go down just enough to rest behind the tongue. A little bits gotta cover the back, but not too much. Just my preference. You could go gothic and let your jeans go under your soles. Drag em around a bit. Thrash em real good.

It matters what shoe I am using.

When I wear my Adidas Top Ten Hi's with my toungs in, I honestly think they look better that way.

Dunks usually look better when the toungs are out.

Lace them up 6 holes. all the way to the one that goes back. Then pop the tongue, and you'll be lookin' fresh in no time.

not if they are extra skinny jeans, you'll end up looking like a clown.

yeah skinny/slim jeans with hi tops is fucked. not only does it look weird most of the time it feels weird cause everything gets stacked up a couple inches higher and makes it feel tighter.

however I do let high cut chucks slide because you can usually put the pant over the shoe anyways.

If I were you I'd get baggier jeans and lace them up to like the 5th loop and then just let your jeans lay at the top of the laces.

straight cut jeans/ pants, pop the tongue and let the jeans fall how they're gonna fall. otherwise you're gonna be fixin them constantly.

If the length is too long on jeans you can always fix the hem, it shouldn't cost a lot at all.

Depending on what dunks you have, it's sometimes better to stick the tongue in, or leave it out. For example, on my Bloody Sundays I left the tongue out, and on my MF Doom's I had the jeans cover it. In terms of lacing, I lace up all the holes except the last two, so that way it holds up the sidestraps without going up too high. At that point I just lace them behind the tongue. You can lace your dunks however you want, but that's how I do it and people have given me plenty of compliments, so there's credibility if you need it haha.

honestly most of the time i keep the tongue in. i know its weird for sneakerheads but i do. maybe its cuz i wear dunks to work sometimes and i don't want the tongue sticking out there and now i'm used to it.

oh and i agree that you should leave the last two holes open, don't lace em up all the way. if you want you can let those flaps (don't know what they're called) down too.

just let your jeans fall naturally over the shoe.
major flaw in high tops is lacing them too tight!!

popping the tongue out in front of the denim is generally a bad look. it can be done correctly bu 99% of the time it isnt. just let the jeans fall over naturally

I 100% agree. a lot of times it looks like the person is trying too hard if their shoes are sticking out of the sneakers.
