just fyi this watch is meant for girls. the strap is very small and also if you read the reviews, they are all girls.

That watch is basically unisex. 42mm diameter for a watch is fine for a man (even Rolex submariner is 40mm). Also, with a 18-20mm band width is a perfect width if you plan on getting any aftermarket straps.

You should be able to use this tool, you just need to know how many mm the band needs to be and you're good.
