No but I'm asking to those who are more experience watch heads, what things specifically do you dislike about Nixon? I only own one but ive never had any complaints about it. Just a general wondering.
And if anyone has any input on the canon, it would be much appreciated. smile

most of their watches are ugly as fuck

Most watch enthusiasts don't mess with quartz movement watches to begin with. Designs are ugly in my opinion and I feel that they aren't well made watches. A friend of mine who knows nothing about watches said a friend of his fixes watches and he said they are poorly constructed. I've never seen the inside of a Nixon, but I assume it has a Japanese quartz movement which is considered to be reliable. However, the materials and construction around the Miyota movement is probably shit. In my criteria for watches, mechanical movements are a must, so I don't really care to look into Nixons. Yes, Nixon has a few watches with Swiss Auto's but they're overpriced any they too must be poorly built.

I know Seiko makes nice budget watches minus the higher end grand seikos, but i haven't really seen nice ones. This one is nice though. Too bad its a quartz though. Deal breaker for me.

If you're loaded go for Hublot or Breitling

If you're loaded, get anything you want since you can afford anything. Nothing spectacular in a Breitling, so prices are reasonably low.

Ight so I'm looking for recommendations on a nice, simple, 42mm gold watch. I'm young and on a budget of about $300. Anything comes to mind?

It's aight. I fucks wit it.

For me, I don't get niggas who go wild about watches, whether they're streetwear brands or luxury brands. I mean, there are far better ways of showing you have status that doesn't involve getting motherfuckers to look at your wrist every time you roll your sleeve up. But then again, this is the watch thread, so I'ma stop trolling...now.

I agree, it's amazing how much better the super oyster makes this watch look.

Just google or ebay search Seiko skx007. For a decent quality automatic, you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Good looks.

I just copped a zulu strap but I am having a hard time trying to find a youtube video or instructions on how to remove my strap. Does anyone know of a forum/blog to help with removing seiko skx007 bracelets? sad
