i cant see those bands working with any other colored watch. ive got a stainless steel easy reader timex that lost one of its spring bars. The watch itself works perfectly fine i just need a new spring bar. But i figured why not get new straps while im at it? Do you guys have any recommendations? I am looking for a little bit of color.

Z I;#post-3211050]
Why fly, when you can get it shipped. If you’re worried about any duties to pay, ask the AD if you’ll run into that sort of trouble. Perhaps the AD can work with you to lower the price, so when you have to pay the tax, it’ll match up to the price you want. If you don’t mind a pre-owned one, a lot of business owners who are feeling the bad economy are selling their rollies in order to pay their employees salaries. Try finding/emailing some dealers and see if they’ll work with you or haggle with some private sellers. If you do buy a used one, watch out for fakes and do your transactions through paypal and make sure you’re safe. I also heard that your bank will help you out too if you decide to do a wire transfer.

Appreciate the advice dude smile

if i didnt already have two watches i would have copped shinjin.

So i went to Walmart for some supplies and remembered that i needed a new spring bar for my watch. I went to the watch section and saw a huge stand filled with watches and there was only one worker nearby helping someone else with the watches in the display cases. I grabbed a watch with a leather band and took the spring bar out ,slipped it in my pocket, and proceeded to check out. When i got home i learned that the spring bar didn't fit. sad So i tore apart a perfectly good watch for no reason.. Sorry Walmart!

Watches and spring bars have different sizes in mm's. I went to fast fix at the mall and I asked for 26mm spring bars. Instead they were asking me about what watch I'm trying to put them on and I really didn't want help since I knew what I was doing. They ended up chatting with me about watches and life and they gave me two new spring bars for fee lol. They said they were high off smelling chemicals in the shop all day, so I guess that's what put them in such a good mood haha.

Nah I got it from Macy's they were having a friends and family preorder so it came out to about $498, still debating If it was worth the price as its a burberry watch.... but I jus like the gold.

498$? I am not sure if it's the same one, but I think you over paid.

Bought a Nixon gold time teller watch and it fits big on my wrist. Anyone know where I can go to have some links taken off? Maybe 1 or 2. Thanks.

Take it into any watch repair store at your local mall. Takes 5 mins and will cost less than 10$ to get it done.

You can buy a nice simple timex easy reader watch at target for 30$! Or you can just search amazon, and I'm sure you could find a plethora of watches that will fit your criteria.
