Dear everybody!
I guess the title of my thread pretty much says it all: I'm out hunting for the greatest varsity jacket of all time, and the moment I find it, I'll get it, no matter what.
My initial favorite was the 10 Deep "X Society" Varsity Jacket (pictures: www.turntablelab.com/clothing/0/0/36850.html), what with the gorgeous embroideries, the leather sleeves, the quilted lining, etc. The one thing that turned me off, though, was the back. It's empty. Black. Nothing there. Another giant "X" logo, surrounded by embroideries etc., and yeah, that would probably have sealed the deal. But alas.
I then got pretty excited about the Brian Wood "369" Varsity Jacket (pictures: www.probusnyc.com/product_p/brian%20wood%20369%20varsity%20jacket.htm) -- purple! badass logo! big tongue! his glasses look like my glasses! in fact he looks like me! crazy! but then I turned it around for further inspection and again, nothing on the back. Empty. And so... Meh.
Which led me here: I now turn to the wise elders on this board for guidance and advice.
