Was in VIBE Magazine a while back. Drake has even said countless times that 808s & Heartbreak inspired So Far Gone. I don't know about that whole "no Kanye, no Drake" argument though. Maybe in the sense that 'Ye made it more culturally acceptable to NOT have the typical rapper background.
