I understand what your saying. The fact that he will drop all that money on a label and represent their name shows he likes that label and more power to him. What I mean is that its like a rich white teen from the suburbs wearing a Malcolm X shirt. He has his ass hanging out half the time and rapping shit like "suck my dick n!@@a" then wearing something high class like that. People like Kanye and other rappers have the right image to rep high end labels.

well actually designers do care who buys their product. Thats why marketing people get paid so much. Designers know what demographic they want to reach so they pay marketing firms or have marketing departments to figure out how to sell to that demographic. Thats why there's no Louis Vuttion stores in the hood, because they dont want people from the hood buying their shit.

You dont get what I am saying. Of course they are going to market to a specific demographic, whoever buys MORE of their shit, but they arent going to deny good money from someone else. This has nothing to do with that though, the hood is not where these rappers or sports figures live, no matter how "hood" they are. They may PREFER a certain market to buy their shit, but they love love LOOOVE when someone with some new money comes in and buys the store. It's ALL ABOUT MONEY. You can be the most niiggerish person around, if you walk into their store with a fat ass Rubberband Banks, they will treat you like an Aryan on Nazi Day in a KKK meeting.

And these labels/designers dont market shit anyways. You know what Gucci, LV, etc. is, they dont need to market to anyone. If you want their shit, you're going to know where to get it.
