Was dropping some clothes off for donating to my local thrift store, with my buddy & he decides we should walk in & look around for a bit. See if we can find anything. Thinking why not I go in, expecting not to find anything & was really amazed that you can actually find some nice stuff.

Most of the stuff was too big or ruined, but I found one diamond in the dirt. A baby blue, Charlotte Hornet's sweater. Felt good. Only 7.99$. Has anyone else found something they LOVED at a thirft store? Thoughts?

Yeah we hit up Winners too. Bought some really nice Hurley jeans, original price 59.99$ but they people that work there are idiots so I switched the tag to 19.99$.

lol winners is such a suprise sometimes. honestly, i find the most random shit there everytime from nudies to fiberops to evisu, LX vans to premium blazers to jordans, and a whole lot of other good shit.

they have good shit but alot of the rare shit i find is too small. i mean i'm not even that big i'm 6-3 195. but since everything is relatively old they XL's usually aren't even big enough.

Honestly, anyone that would take shame in getting something from a thrift store cares WAY too much. Only problem I'd have with it, is that it's clothes made to be sold to the less fortunate & if you CAN afford higher levels of clothing, & you're buying from there to resell & make profit. It might be a big immoral. But do you I guess.

Yeah, I find junk in thrift stores all the time, i find jordans all the time even though like half of them are fake, i mostly go for jeans because i dont care for used jeans and stuff, if its a nice shirt i'll get it, i also find some rare ass shit there too.

Yeah though, Plato's Closet is more expensive than like goodwill but they have better clothes, the reason it is more expensive is that it is a thrift store geared towards young people, and that the employees are young and actully know the value of the things. But its still a pretty good store.

I have found everything from Abercrombie to Baby Phat at thrift stores...

I love it.

I will say that if you live in Cali, the best thrift stores are around LA. Goodwill, Salvation Army, you name it. You can find some GREAT stuff there.
