I recently saw my homie wearing one of those Supreme tees with the original red/white logo in the middle at school. I asked him about it, and he told me that he had made it from scratch, using fabric paint, a stencil and all of that good stuff. As far as I'm concerned, I thought it was the real deal. What stands out to me is that he did it on a fresh Kirkland/Costco tee. How do ppl here feel about this? Would you consider this an insult to Supreme?

It's as much of an insult to supreme as all the other streetwear brands that use copyrighted designs on their tshirts without giving anyone credit.

Up to the individual. If he/she likes it, that's all that matters. Personally I wouldn't wear it.

If you comming here to subliminally ask if you should do it and would it be "acceptable"... dont listen to anyone here. Just do you.

Me personally, i wouldn't try that hard.

I recently saw my homie wearing one of those nike shoes with the original swoosh in the middle at school. I asked him about it, and he told me that he had made it from scratch, using fabric paint, a stencil and all of that good stuff. As far as I'm concerned, I thought it was the real deal. What stands out to me is that he did it on a fresh pair of shaqs from payless. How do ppl here feel about this? Would you consider this an insult to nike?

if your "friend" is a kid who grew up in ny skating since the early to mid 90's and is supporting a shop that he used to frequent before it blew up and became a hypebeast staple brand, than maybe this would be ok... otherwise he is just a kid rocking a fake shirt for street cred

there are supreme stitches for sale that you can stitch on any shitty tee's.
It ain't much different from buying a normal stitched on tee anyways.

Obey is a propaganda based brand... They're about hyping themselves. Supreme is about exclusivity, where fake shit is fake shit.

Supreme is an interesting clothing company. I must admit that their designs are for the most part nothing spectacular, i.e; Supreme Box Shirt, shirts w/pics of celebrities wearing supreme shirts. But I also realize that in NY supreme is a staple and has some history behind it that has brought it tremendous customer loyalty. My issue is then why would those who have no history or any real connection to Supreme pay outrageous prices for the clothing? Seriously something to think about, I have nothing against Supreme, only those who patronize the clothing for the wrong reasons.
