Wearing shorts w/ Dunk SB Hi's??????

I'm a guy that only wears shorts (I don't know why, I just do). I have the opportunity to pick up a pair of Send Help Dunk SB's, which are obviously hi tops. Normally when I see people wearing hi tops, they're wearing long pants, so my question is would I be able to successfully rock a pair of Send Help's in a pair of khaki shorts? If I could get some help within the next 2 days it would be very appreciated.

I wear high tops with shorts all the time. check out my "wdywt". Main thing about pulling it off, in my opinion is that you should be tall. It makes your legs look shorter. I'm 6'1, so i don't really care if it makes me look a bit shorter

whats sucks is im like 5'9 and mens cargo shorts are cut so long and they hang past my knees...then with a pair of high tops it makes me look SO SHORT..its terrible..i want to cut my shorts shorter but that cargo pocket is there..so i really cant..

I guess it all comes down to the height of the person, the height of the shoes, and the length of the shorts

I dont like shorts above the knees in any era. I dont like the super long capri-esque shorts some dudes rock either.
