I don't care if I'm the only one to say it, but I absolutely hate RL polos. I usually rock either Burberry, Lacoste, or plain ones from various companies.

The fit is more important than the brand.

RL and Izod are good bets, as are Lacoste (although I think they run kinda big).

On AA, does it run big or would buying your normal size be ok? Looking for a more fitted look. Uh, same question for Fred Perry. Please and thank

why are the sleeves on a ralph lauren polo tighter than a lacoste's?
August 8, 2007 @ 12:31 PM

Ralph Lauren all day. I find Lacostes colors to be usually limited and then the colors like the classic red or blue are usually way to bright teetring on neon. While Polo has the same kind of colors u can always find a more muted tone or different style. Since Lacoste is a smaller brand there are less polos. Also i find that Lacoste colars get limp as hell and eventually just sit on the shirt instead of standing up. And I always have to size down on Lacoste polos because they are wide as hell and short. Ralph Laurens fit is not only better but they have more then one type of fit on the shirts. U can get custom fit, fitted or classic. Unlike the take it or leave it fit thats on Lacostses. Just stick with the classic i say.

For cheap ones, I like Uniqlo the best. For more expensive ones, I like Fred Perry. I go for the tall, slim look and both of these polos fit me very well.
