I think it's a reverse to cleaner looks with a simpler color palette.
Also, I think designs also go back to simple, yet eccentric patterns alongside with original designs.

What do you guys think?

This is just my noob ass opinion.

I think it has to follow trends of current street wear, like certain prints/patterns, and certain pieces like certain hats, varsities, certain colorways, while at the same time having its own unique feel or take on it either as a piece itself or the brand whole. It needs that casual yet classy style, with a lot of pieces that could look good on anyone as well as many pieces that you really need to know how to wear. Good quality and being expensive is a plus, oh yeah, and if you're on Karmaloop you're officially streetwear. Lol jk

I feel fashion as a whole is moving away from the mass produced ready to wear and really building towards limited run or "create your own" way of thinking. Everyone wants to stand out and wear something that is on trend but hasn't been seen yet. Also, I feel there is going to be a move to the underground. HYPE is being played out and people are getting sick of it.
trend wise class and Ratpack era clothing is definitely making a comeback and will definitely be influencing streetwear in the years to come.
Let me know if you agree or if I'm completely off base with this.
