Hey guys,

I have this jacket i like but the back keeps flaring cause of no drawstring. The problem is there was never a hole for drawstrings or anything. how do i add one and where?

I added one to an old nylon workers jacket i had laying around. Tied the string to a metal coathanger to force it through any insulation that was inside the hem. Here's a pic:

You need a piece of fabric that about 1.5" x25"-30"isn, long rectangle..really depends on how wide the jacket. Some eyelets to put on each end of the fabric, can buy that shit at any fabric store. Then you sew it around the waist on the inside, you can look at jackets online with them to figure out placement. Then get a long piece wire, fold the tip like 3 times, attach a shoe lace, in one eyelet, out the other, then buy a couple cordlocks, which are also found at the fabric store. Now you have a slimmer fitting jacket.
